The Stellantis NV brand showed off the exterior of the new-look Cherokee for the first time Thursday in several images and a video. Long a best-seller for Jeep, the new model has a more boxy appearance than the prior generation.

Stellantis NV said Wednesday that Antonio Filosa, who currently oversees the Americas for the automaker, will serve as the company's next chief executive officer. The internal hire of Filosa, a 25-year veteran of the company, was announced early Wednesday morning and ends a six-month-long search for a new CEO after Carlos Tavares resigned suddenly in early December amid a difficult stretch of slumping profits and sales.

Stellantis NV said Wednesday that Antonio Filosa, who currently oversees the Americas for the automaker, will serve as the company's next chief executive officer. The internal hire of Filosa, a 25-year veteran of the company, ends a six-month-long search for a new CEO after Carlos Tavares resigned suddenly in early December amid a difficult stretch of falling profits and sales. Filosa will take the top job on June 23 and is expected to announce a new leadership team then.

By Luke Ramseth, The Detroit NewsStellantis NV said Wednesday it will build a $388 million parts distribution hub in Van Buren Township, Michigan, that will consolidate several other Midwest facilities. The new Mopar facility, called the Metro Detroit Megahub, is expected to open in 2027 and will staff up with about 488 United Auto Workers-represented employees. The Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram maker said the project is part of a broader consolidation strategy for its parts distribution centers.
