    On Your Bike will be coming to Wellington's Pop-Up Shop next week (On Your Bike/Google Maps)A CYCLING charity which was founded in Wellington is set to come to the Fore Street Pop-Up Shop. On Your Bike, a Somerset-based cycling charity, will be offering free servicing all week at the town council’s Pop-Up Shop, from Monday, May 12, until Saturday, May 17. There will also be reconditioned and new bikes, parts, and accessories for sale.

    WELLINGTON Town Council honoured VE Day with support from their town crier for the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe. On the morning of Thursday, May 8, the Town Crier read out the official VE Day 80th anniversary proclamation at Wellington Monument. A two-minute silence was then held at midday in the town centre, when the Town Crier rang his bell to mark the beginning and end of the silence, reading the VE Day proclamation once again.
