    Officials with Arvinas, a New Haven-based biotechnology firm, announced Thursday that the company is laying off 131 workers at the end of June, including 92 in Connecticut. The company announced its layoff plans in a letter dated Wednesday April 30, 2025 to Connecticut Department of Labor officials. Arvinas officials gave no reason for the layoffs in the letter, a notification required by the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act in advance of mass layoffs.
