    The UK evangelical Church is experiencing growth and renewed spiritual openness, according to new research by the Evangelical Alliance. Their latest Changing Church survey reveals that church attendance has surpassed pre-pandemic levels, with double the number of people committing to follow Jesus compared to 2021. Across evangelical churches, attendance has increased by 13 per cent since January 2020.

    More than 7,750 people were baptised in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday 3rd May at Huntington Beach, California. Organisers say it was the largest single-day baptism in American history. Led by Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church, the Baptise California event brought together around 30,000 people from over 300 churches, as reported by The Christian Post. Worship was led by Christian artists including Bethel Music, Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes.

    Wealthy conservative Catholics from the United States have arrived in Rome, with some pledging substantial financial support if the conclave produces "the right pope". Around 80 members of the American Papal Foundation, many of whom are associated with Donald Trump and movements like Project 2025, are in Rome as part of the annual America Week pilgrimage, which this year coincides with the pre-conclave period.
