It was only a matter of time before Dan Connor was promoted from defensive analyst to linebackers coach — he essentially held the role but not the title for the 2024 season. During defensive coordinator Jim Knowles’ introductory press conference in early February, he shouted out all the position coaches for making his life easier with how talented each one of them is, mentioning Connor despite him having not been officially promoted.

Kenny Woseley Jr. was seen in the middle of June watching his Imhotep Institute high school squad compete in a 7-on-7 tournament at Penn State. He was on the sidelines supporting, even filming the games on his Instagram live feed, but this time around he wasn’t suited up. The cornerback had recently enrolled for his freshman year, having been one of the last members of the 2024 recruiting class to do so along with his high school teammate in wide receiver Tyseer Denmark.

Ex-Nittany Lion Chase Meyer announced his transfer commitment to the University of California Berkeley via X on Thursday. 🏠✅🐻— Chase Meyer (@_ChaseMeyer) May 1, 2025This will be his fourth team of his collegiate career, as prior to joining Penn State for the 2024 campaign, he had stops at Penn and Tulsa. Meyer is a California native, so playing for the Golden Bears gives him an opportunity to be closer to home.
