It was a long week for Penn State following its Orange Bowl loss to Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff Semifinal. It was a longer week for Drew Allar, who said he was in a “tough state” following his interception that ultimately cost the Nittany Lions the season. He walked off of the field teary-eyed alongside position coach Danny O’Brien. He walked with his head down into postgame media.
