Clearwater, Fla. — It was thought by Tigers watchers that an outfielder might be on front-office chief Scott Harris’ shopping list ahead of Thursday and Opening Day against the Dodgers at Los Angeles. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reported Sunday that nine-season MLB outfielder Manuel Margot is headed to the Tigers after being released by the Brewers. Margot, 30, and a right-handed hitter, has played for the Twins, Rays, and Padres.
