IntroductionIf former president Donald Trump wins back the White House, U.S. trading partners are likely to face a barrage of renewed tariff threats. Trump has announced that, if reelected, he will impose a 10–20 percent across-the-board tariff on imports into the United States, as well as an additional 60 percent tariff on all imports from China.
