New Orleans - Senior RF Mackenzie Cox (Alexandria, La.) was named to the 2024 All-Louisiana Softball Team, the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) announced on Wednesday. Cox, who earned a spot on the Second Team, continued to collect awards following a stellar senior season and career with the Ladies. She landed on the All-Louisiana Team for the second time in her career after earning Honorable-Mention honors in 2022.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. –Senior RF Mackenzie Cox (Alexandria, La.) was named to the 2024 NFCA Division III All-Region team, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Friday. Cox, named to the First Team, was one of 376 student-athletes from 167 schools to make the prestigious team.

Seguin, Texas – Senior RF Mackenzie Cox (Alexandria, La.) was named to the 2024 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship All-Tournament Team after an impressive performance in a pair of games this past weekend at Ed Kruse Stadium – Morck Softball Field on the campus of Texas Lutheran University. Cox went 5-8 in her two SCAC Tournament games with three RBI, a double, a run scored, and a stolen base.

SEGUIN, Texas – Fourth-seeded Southwestern University relied upon starting pitcher Sophia Ytuarte in the circle, as well as at the plate as she tossed 7.0 innings and recorded two RBI in the Pirates' 9-3 win over the fifth-seeded Centenary College Ladies in game one of the 2024 SCAC Softball Championship on Friday afternoon on the campus of host institution Texas Lutheran University.

Shreveport- The Centenary softball team lost a heartbreaker on Sunday afternoon as the Ladies fell 2-1 in eight innings to the Trinity University Tigers in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Senior Day at the Centenary Softball Complex. The Ladies (13-25, 8-13 SCAC) lost for the 10th-straight time and finished the season 9-9 at home.
