CARTHAGE, Ill. (KHQA) — The 45th annual Strawberry Strut is coming up on June 1st. The event features a 5k run, a walk, and a fun run for children, along with a 1-mile run/walk. Winners will receive fresh boxes of strawberries. All proceeds go towards "Hancock County Fights Cancer."Kris Pilkington, the event chairwoman, says it's great to bring the community together. The John Wood Community College Student Life Association is looking to help their fellow students through a fund raiser. It's called "Winter Wonderland," and students will decorate the spring valley trails behind JWCC for the community's enjoyment. It will feature pictures with Santa, a bonfire, treats, hot chocolate and plenty of other activities. Money raised by the event will go towards the JWCC food pantry, which students can take advantage of.

SimCorp has provided software and services for over 300 of the world’s largest financial institutions, including Sweden’s AP7 and AP3 and AP4, with Axioma also assisting the last two pension funds.

Recent research conducted by Independent Governance Group (IGG) of in-demand skills and experience for future pension managerial roles, showed the difficulties of finding an individual that meets much of the current desired criteria for a pensions manager role at a pension fund. IGG found through a LinkedIn’s skills classification that over 158 skill requirements were listed across 40 advertised roles, falling into nine key categories.
