Headline: Gusty winds but turning cooler. A blustery night in Texas. So far all we have to worry about are the strong winds. Tonight some stormy weather is developing in northeast Texas. On Saturday the cold front will finally push through the Crossroads. There will be some scattered showers early on Saturday but by evening we will be getting a cool, dry wind from the north. What we are tracking: Saturday morning as the storm system passes to our north is the only time we may have some stormy weather.

Headline: More thunderstorms expected tonight. We have acccumulated over 4 inches of rain so far. With additional thundershower expected tonight there is a very high chance we will get some flooding overnight into tomorrow morning. What we are tracking: The Flash Flood Watch continues in effect until Friday afternoon. Be on the look out for low waters crossing, river and streams that will be filling quickly in the heavy rain.

Headline: Flooding rain moving into the Crossroads. A significant rain event will begin tonight and last until Friday evening. Between now and then we will likely get 5 to 7 inches of rain. This will cause flooding through most of the region. Travel will be hazardous especially on county roads. Thunder and lightning will be with us for two days.
