    Millions across the nation participated in the "No Kings" protests against the Donald Trump administration this weekend. Organizers of the event estimate that some 7,000 people turned out at rallies and events across the islands. At the state capitol on Oʻahu, law enforcement estimated a crowd close to 5,000 that lined the streets that stretched past Punchbowl to Alakea.     The United Nations Ocean Conference kicked off in France this week, with scientists watching to see if the international community would ratify a treaty to protect the open ocean. Fifty countries have signed onto the High Seas Treaty — 60 are needed for the first legally binding agreement protecting marine life in international waters to take effect. The U.S. has not ratified the treaty.
