HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WIS/WMBF) - The fate of a South Carolina woman is now in a jury’s hands. Meagan Jackson is standing trial in Horry County for the death of Gregory Rice, the father of Jackson’s children. Jackson, of Conway, is accused of kidnapping and shooting Rice in October 2020. Authorities found Rice’s body along the Little Pee Dee River near Pitts Landing off Highway 378 at the Horry/Marion County line about a month later.

He said not only are they causing problems, but they’re leaving behind a sour stench in the Palmetto Glen neighborhood, which is located off Highway 17 Bypass between Highway 544 and Highway 707 in Horry County. “There’s so much goose poop that you could probably smell it out there, it’s horrible, its really bad,” said James Kent.
