EU milling wheat exports have declined by 37% from 1 July, 2024, to 4 March, 2025, totalling 13.93 million tonnes, according to the European Commission. This marks a significant decrease compared to the same period last year. Overall wheat and processed wheat exports from the EU fell by 36% during the same timeframe, totalling 14.7 million tonnes. The decline is most noticeable in the export of milling wheat, which saw a 37% drop, while the export of durum wheat saw a modest increase of 2%.
