Dar es Salaam. Tanzanian top female golfer Madina Idd is determined to bounce back after narrowly missing out on the title in the recently concluded Kenya Ladies Golf Tournament. Madina finished in second place with a total of 227 strokes in the 54-hole competition. The Arusha Gymkhana Golf Club member led the leaderboard for the first two rounds but saw her hopes of claiming the title dashed when Kenyan golfer Joyce Wanjiru emerged victorious with a total of 226 strokes (+7).

AT bans Kenya runners from competing in TZ Athletics Tanzania has suspended three Kenyan runners for failing to honor the country’s rules and regulations governing the game. The runners' are Denis Kemboi, Limo Peter and Karbolo Tatiyia who competed in the Kimondo marathon.
