President Trump is making a move against Big Pharma. On Monday, he signed an executive order setting a 30-day deadline for drug companies to lower prices on prescription drugs. "It's great they're going to lower brand-name drug prices to help seniors out," said Erich Cushey, the owner of Curtis Pharmacy. Cushey has four locations in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The executive order comes at a time when independent pharmacies are facing many challenges, including low reimbursements and more competition.

Investigators with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police are looking for a woman they say shot at a man in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood on Thursday morning. Officials said the shots fired happened on Melba Place at around 9:30 a.m. "I was sitting on my couch, all of a sudden, my music cut out, and I heard two pops," Shamus O'Grady said. O'Grady, who lives on Melba Place, got up immediately and saw a car driving away.

Woman recovering after being shot in Rankin Allegheny County police are looking for a person accused of shooting a woman as she got out of her car in Rankin early Tuesday morning. She's in the hospital recovering. "This is sad, devastating, of course," said Rankin Council President Glenn Ford. Ford was a few blocks down on Fourth Avenue when he got an unexpected call from one of his cousins at 1 a.m. that his aunt had been shot.

The family of a man who died after being in police custody is now suing the borough of West Mifflin. "We filed a lawsuit against the West Mifflin Police Department, as well as other individual officers," said Alec Wright, the family's attorney. This civil complaint alleges that officers didn't provide Timothy Vong with the proper care while he was in their custody.

A Fayette County couple is accused of neglecting their two cats and two dogs for months. Pennsylvania State Police troopers responded to Ryan Murphy and Paige Miske's home in Redstone Township following reports of dead animals on April 18. Investigators say when they entered, they found two dead dogs, one barricaded in a back room, the other in a closet. The two cats were roaming about. Officials say the conditions inside the home were deplorable.
