Things could hardly have gone any better on the pitch for the Under-18s, who added the national play-off title to a league and cup double, and saw players like David Abimbola, Daeshon Lawrence and Harrison Rice drafted into the first team for experience. Naturally, hopes are high for the group, most of whom will now move on to form the core of next season’s B Team in the Central League.
