    Ben Wheatley’s new film BULK will premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. More on the secret project below. This year’s Edinburgh Film Festival will take place in August and programme info is starting to trickle in. The festival includes a Midnight Madness strand which tends to focus on horror, thriller and sci-fi movies and their opening night film is, excitingly, Ben Wheatley’s new film, BULK. It’s especially exciting because no one knew he was making it.

    Donald Trump is getting the biopic treatment again as Italian producer Andrea Iervolino looks to get the project off the ground. Last year’s The Apprentice – a great film, if you ask me – was surrounded by a thick cloud of controversy. Ali Abbasi, armed with the acting abilities of Jeremy Strong and Sebastian Stan, brought the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, on the big screen in a biopic that didn’t exactly admire the businessman-turned-politician.

    Neapolitan ice cream has never been more terrifying as Eli Roth prepares to make his most “insane” film yet with Ice Cream Man. It’s probably fair to say that Eli Roth found very little success with Borderlands, his highly expected video game adaptation that pretty bombed at the box office and critics weren’t very kind towards it either. This writer didn’t mind the film personally, but it does seem that Roth is more comfortable working in horror than action blockbusters.
