The internet’s favourite viral killer doll is pitted against her own kind in a goofy, fun sequel. Here’s our M3GAN 2.0 review. 2023 got off to an explosive start with director Gerard Johnstone’s M3GAN, a horror-thriller about a killer doll that will stop at nothing to protect its inventor’s niece, even if it means killing a lot of people. The film explored familiar themes but did so with a spark, winking at the audience every now and then.

Tommy Wirkola’s Christmas-themed sequel has set its release date. More on Violent Night 2 below. 2022’s Violent Night was a delightful surprise. Who knew watching David Harbour wreak havoc in a Santa costume would be so much fun? A sequel to the film was announced in 2023 and a 2025 shoot was planned. Now, Universal Pictures has given Violent Night 2 a release date, but it’s still a while away. The sequel will hit US cinemas on 4th December 2026 as confirmed here by Deadline.

Disney+ UK is about more than Marvel and Star Wars stuff. Here’s a bunch of underappreciated films on the service. Many of us subscribed to Disney+ to always have a bunch of Disney productions at hand.. You know, in case I simply need to watch The Lion King at 2am and can’t find my DVD in the dark. But the streaming service offers so much more than just the well known favourites. There’s a whole sea of incredible films to discover – but with such extensive libraries, they can be hard to find.

CODA director Siân Heder has set Being Heumann as her next project and Mark Ruffalo is set to star in it. More on the film below. Even 3 years after CODA beat all odds and won Best Picture at the 2022 Academy Awards, we’re still in awe of how such a small, delightful film managed to break through like it did. Unfortunately, the film has somewhat disappeared from public consciousness since then, but director Siân Heder has set her eyes on a new project.

New episode of The Rest Of Us is now out and @Nemesis4909 and I chat about episode 4 of #TheLastOfUsSeason2 It’s a great chat, even if I say so myself! Have a listen and give us a follow while you’re there: https://t.co/n4OhaHsV0a

Want to know if @OrHarveyWorking would survive a zombie apocalypse? We somehow covered that on the latest episode of The Rest Of Us but also managed to chat about #TheLastOfUs a little. And cookies. And sandwiches. Listen on Apple Podcasts here: https://t.co/CQaxQsZ933

Thoroughly confused by #TheLastOfUsSeason2 episode 3... After last week's brilliantly brutal episode, this one held your hand far too much and included some baffling changes from the game. More thoughts: https://t.co/GDTFqVesR4
