HIBBING—A young injured dancer, supported by her teammates and instructors, demonstrated resilience and determination during her dance school’s spring recital this past weekend. Hallie Pauling, a junior at Hibbing High School this school year, started dancing 14 years ago, and was looking forward to participating in Stephanie’s Dance Shoppe Dance Showcase, and spring recital, taking place May 30 and 31. kAmp? :?;FCJ @? HIBBING—School is out for summer, and the City of Hibbing Parks and Recreation Department has once again partnered with local businesses and groups to provide weekly family-fun activities on Howard Street. “Hibbing on Howard” was introduced about three years ago, and offers eight free family fun for all ages on Mondays, from 5 to 7 p.m., from June 9 through July 28. Food trucks are available on site.

CHISHOLM—The Chisholm Sportsmen’s Club, a nonprofit organization with more than a century of history on the Range, is planning a new fundraising event that is open to the public. The club is coordinating an ATV ride taking place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. at Jim’s Sports Club in Chisholm. Cost is $10 per rider, and lunch is provided. Kids 14 and under are free.
