In May, I started to write in Medium after a break of several months. To my surprise, my earnings increased a lot after this break. While I was earning 20-30$ before I stopped writing, my earnings were up to 50$ in May. Also, I was earning some dollars during my break due to my previous articles (5-10$). Therefore, I was really happy and motivated, and I supposed that increasing the articles I write will increase my earnings. However, that was not the situation.
