This morning. And we even had some special guests from the middle school and high school level.

Winds will also be strong tomorrow into next week. This morning, we made the trek to the upper valley, to OTTAUQUECHEE SCHOOL in Hartford, Vermont. And the kids did an excellent job with the weather forecast. And then afterwards, we caught up with kindergartners who just finished completing their weather stories. The class just wrapped up a weather unit, and as a final project, each student picked their favorite kind of weather and wrote and drew their own little story about it.

Students joined in to help with the morning forecast, bringing energy to the broadcast.A major topic of discussion was the weekend storm, which went on to drop several inches of snow across St. Albans.

Driving along Route 7 in Leicester, it's impossible to miss one of the town's most unique roadside attractions: the towering concrete gorilla holding a Volkswagen Beetle.
