By Mark Brookes, HKHS Baseball Coach(April 15, 2025) —Sawyer DiMatteo, Joey Salafia, and Chase Bruno had two hits each to lead the Haddam-Killingworth High School Baseball team to its second win on April 11, 2025. Todd Butler struck out six allowing only three hits to get the win. Garrett Mitchill came on in the 7th inning to pick up the save. Elfreich had an RBI single in the 6th for Cromwell. HKHS next plays at home against Morgan on April 14, 2025.

By Mark Brookes, HKHS Baseball Coach(May 31, 2024) — Blake Kamoen pitched five innings of shutout ball allowing no runs on three hits and striking out six, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated East Catholic by a score of 11-0. Matt Shea had three hits and Chase Bruno had two with two RBI to lead the Cougars. Sean Green and Will Stanley each had a double for East Catholic. HK plays next on June 5, 2024 at home in the second round of the statetournament.

By Mark Brookes, HKHS Baseball Coach(May 22, 2024) — Blake Kamoen pitched seven innings of four-hit ball to get his fifth win, and Joey Salafia had two hits with an RBI double to lead the Haddam-Killingworth High School Baseball team to a 6-5 win over Morgan in a Shoreline Conference playoff semifinal on May 21, 2024. Ryan Erskine, Todd Butler, Max Selmer and Evan Aubin also had hits for the Cougars. Sean Green had two hits for Morgan.

By Mark Brookes, HKHS Baseball Coach(May 21, 2024) — Matt Shea pitched six innings of two-hit ball to get his seventh win, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated Portland 12-2 in a Shoreline Conference playoff quarterfinal. Luke Mauri had two hits and three RBI; Blake Kamoen, Max Selmer and Ryan Erskine each added two hits in HK’s twelve-hit attack. Josh Hanna hit a two-run homer in the first inning for Portland.

By Mark Brookes, HKHS Baseball Coach(May 21, 2024) — Todd Butler pitched four innings of scoreless relief, striking out three and allowing only two hits, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated Ellington by a score of 11-5 on May 17, 2024. Luke Mauri had three hits, including two home runs, a double and seven RBI. Joe Salafia added a big two-run double in the sixth inning. Michael Grimes and Tristan Patterson each had two hits for Ellington.
