By Mark Brookes, HKHS Baseball Coach(April 15, 2025) —Sawyer DiMatteo, Joey Salafia, and Chase Bruno had two hits each to lead the Haddam-Killingworth High School Baseball team to its second win on April 11, 2025. Todd Butler struck out six allowing only three hits to get the win. Garrett Mitchill came on in the 7th inning to pick up the save. Elfreich had an RBI single in the 6th for Cromwell. HKHS next plays at home against Morgan on April 14, 2025.

By Rod Pakus, HKHS Tennis Coach(April 15, 2025) — A sweep of all three doubles matches led the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team to a Shoreline Conference win over Cromwell on April 11, 2025. The match was played on the HKHS courts with Chase Smalley teaming with Joe Lucero to remain undefeated at the number one doubles slot. Newcomers Matt Perry and Jackson Smith paired with veteran team members AJ Livingston and Larson McLaughlin to win the other doubles matches.

By Ava McCullough (February 26, 2025) — On February 19, 2025 the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team lost their Shoreline Conference playoff game to the East Hampton Bellringers 70-67. The Cougars led at halftime by three. A replay of the three-pointer by senior Andrew Crayton with the clock at .2 in the 2nd was called “no shot” by the refs, however the shot was, in fact, good as evidenced by the shot clock timestamp.

By Ava McCullough (February 24, 2025) — On February 12, 2025, the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball fell to the Ellington Knights 81-44. The Knights, who are not in HKHS’s division, played a much different style of game and were able to outplay and outpace the Cougars after HK briefly took the lead in the first quarter. HKHS was led by seniors Andrew Crayton and Cody Robinson with 15 and 9 points, respectively.

By Ava McCullough (February 11, 2025) — On January 31, 2025, the Haddam Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team dropped to 6-8 on the season with a 56 – 43 loss to the Cromwell Panthers. The score does not reflect the effort put forth by the Cougars or the closeness of the game. HKHS surged in the third quarter with a quarter-ending three-pointer by senior Andrew Crayton to bring the score to within two.
