The City of Kitchener’s Dog Designation Appeal Committee will help determine the fate of three large-breed dogs involved in the unprovoked attack of a mother and infant child earlier this month. The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth designated the dogs “prohibited” after concluding its investigation into the April 4 incident on Village Road. A fourth dog involved in the attack was previously surrendered to the Humane Society and has been euthanized.
