    Duck sales in the U.K rose by 27% over the 52 weeks from January 2024 to February 2025, buoyed by marketing campaign from Gressingham Foods, the only major supplier of duck in the country. The campaign resulted in sales of Gressingham’s own brand duck increasing by 15%, whilst also driving more interest to the retailer poultry sections as a whole, the company notes quoting Kantar research.

    A greater focus and new resources should bring the KFC experience to ever more Brazilians at large scale, following the formation of a new joint venture, current owner of the master franchise owner in Brazil, IMC has said, announcing a change to how the business will be run in the country. IMC, with operations primarily in Brazil and the U.S., owns a number of restaurant franchises, including Yum! Brands stablemate Pizza Hut. It currently operates approximately of 200 KFC outlets in Brazil.

    Brazilian meat company and world's largest poultry prouducer JBS is to make a US$100 million investment in two factories in Vietnam, expanding its position in Southeast Asia and global markets. The plants will be responsible for processing beef, pork and poultry and will primarily use raw materials imported from Brazil to the supply Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.
