Police have made an arrest in the case involving a man captured on video throwing a dog into a dumpster in northwest Las Vegas. The 90s are returning to Las Vegas for the second time this spring. Another heat wave is invading Southern Nevada, with forecast highs easily topping 90 degrees for the rest of this week. A motorcyclist died in a crash involving another vehicle Monday afternoon in northwest Las Vegas. The 4:13 p.m. crash happened on West Lone Mountain Road, west of North Rainbow Boulevard. A 43-year-old male, operating a 2023 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special, died in the collision, the Metropolitan Police Department said. In a statement, police said the Harley was “traveling westbound on Lone Mountain Road approaching the private drive of 4949 Rancho Drive.

Tickets for the Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup playoffs first-round series go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, the team announced. The Knights, who won the Stanley Cup in 2023, clinched their seventh Stanley Cup playoff berth in eight seasons Tuesday night during a loss to the Edmonton Oilers at T-Mobile Arena.
