Chester Magistrates Court. Two Chester men have appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, October 25, charged with class A drugs supply offences. Christopher Venables, 28, of Kingsway, admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin on Thursday, October 24. He was bailed on condition he adhere to a 7pm-7am tagged curfew until he appears at Chester Crown Court on November 22.

Chester Magistrates Court. An Ellesmere Port man who tried to request nude images of an underage girl online has received a suspended prison sentence. Connor Marsden, 28, had previously pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, October 25. Prosecuting, Robert Earl said a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) was sought for Marsden.

Chester Magistrates Court. A Chester man has pleaded guilty to defrauding his victim out of more than £3,000. Scott Purchase, 35, of Lynwood Road, admitted the charge when he appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, October 25. Prosecuting, Robert Earl said the fraud offences occurred between January 22 and February 14, 2023, when Purchase ultimately took £3,323 from his victim, who had mental and physical disorders.
