2.2.1 Juvenile data Juvenile outmigrants were monitored with rotary screw traps operated near the mouth of the Chiwawa River (rkm 0.6) in 1997–2018, Nason Creek (rkm 1) in 2004–2018, and the White River (rkm 9) in 2006–2018 (Hillman et al., 2020). Traps were installed in early spring once ice in the river had melted, typically in early March, and were operated as continuously as possible until the river began to freeze again, typically in late November.
