Shared on Trump's platform Truth Social, the post showed a video apparently created using A.I. that shows Trump sunbathing with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a resort labeled "Trump Gaza."The artificially-created video also features children running from piles of rubble to a luxurious area that features a huge golden Trump statue.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs underwent another extensive purge of employees at the hands of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on Monday. The 1,400 workers laid off brought the total amount of layoffs to 2,400 layoffs in the past month. Monday's round of layoffs targeted "bargaining-unit probationary employees" in "non-mission critical roles," including "DEI-related positions," according to a statement by the VA.

According to the FAA's most recent information, a troublingly large percentage of the nation's air traffic control towers are understaffed. As of September 2023, there were 7,047 certified air traffic controllers working across the in airport control towers and approach/departure facilities across the country. That may seem like a lot, but it's almost 2,000 workers short of the goal of 8,966 set by the FAA in conjunction with the controllers' union.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau lobbed a jab at American President Donald Trump on social media after Canada's defeat of the U.S. in the final of the 4 Nations Face-Off hockey tournament. "You can't take our country - and you can't take our game," Trudeau wrote on X (formerly Twitter) after Canada's 3-2 overtime win. Trump has talked up the idea of annexing Canada in recent weeks, even saying, "Canada would be much better off being the 51st state" during his Super Bowl interview.
