A choppy day of trading on Wall Street ended with a mixed finish for stock indexes Wednesday, as gains by several big technology stocks helped temper losses. The S&P 500 edged up 0.1% after wavering between small gains and losses much of the day. Most of the stocks in the index lost ground, but solid gains for several heavyweight technology companies like Nvidia helped counter a decline in health care and other sectors.

Beginning June 2, Spanish-speaking audiences in California’s Central Valley will have a new resource to help resolve complaints related to consumer fraud, theft and abuse, Telemundo California Responde. The new investigative unit from KSCO (Telemundo 33 Sacramento) and KNSO (Telemundo 51 Fresno), part of NBCU Local’s Telemundo Station Group, will be led by News Anchor, Multimedia Journalist and Investigative Reporter Carolina Prato, who joined KCSO and KNSO in April 2025.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have entered into a multi-year media rights agreement with Scripps Sports, so fans throughout the Tampa Bay Area will be able to watch Lightning hockey games for free beginning with the start of the 2025-26 NHL season this fall. This new agreement allows E.W. Scripps Co. to produce and distribute all preseason, regular season and first-round playoff Lightning games that are not allocated exclusively to national broadcasts.
