Netflix could solve this problem if it would just give me a big red button to nuke my kids. Like, not actually nuke them. But, yeah, blow those freeloading teenagers off Netflix whenever I choose. Such a beautiful, all-powerful button should only be on the app of the primary account holder – you know, the person who pays the monthly bill. In my case, moi.

People in NSW lost a record $8.1 billion on poker machines last year, with the heaviest losses suffered in Sydney's most disadvantaged neighbourhoods, new data reveals. Anti-gambling group Wesley Mission also found the number of poker machines in NSW grew by almost 1000 to 87,545 in 2023, despite a state government commitment to reduce the figure.

In his latest power move, Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has ordered construction to begin on an enormous new $53 billion terminal in the emirate. Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai will be five times bigger than the current Dubai International Airport, which is already the world's busiest international terminal and home to flagship carrier Emirates.

Vladimir Putin cut out the heart of a deer on a hunting trip with Silvio Berlusconi, causing the former Italian prime minister to throw up behind a tree, a former Italian senator has claimed. Grisly details of the pair's 2013 Russian hunt were revealed by Fabrizio Cicchitto, a member of Berlusconi's Forza Italia party, who spoke to newspaper Corriere della Sera. Berlusconi was holidaying in Russia, at one of the Russian president's favourite dachas, when keen outdoorsman Putin took him on a hunt.
