(WXYZ) — FBI raids in three Southeast Michigan cities are stirring up reaction after multiple pro-Palestinian student organizations posted videos of the raids saying some of their members were targeted. The FBI, along with local and state law enforcement were involved in the raids. The attorney general's office clarified immigration officers were not involved and all involved were American citizens.

    HARTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — After hearing concerns from residents over traffic and safety in the area of M-59 and US-23 at the Hartland Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday, the board voted 6-1 to approve Livingston County's first Chick-fil-A location. Some residents say safety is at jeopardy with an already over-concentrated intersection at M-59 and Blaine Road, right where one of the proposed entrances of the fast-food restaurant would be.

    DETROIT (WXYZ) — As the United States and China continue to increase tariffs on each other's goods, Michigan's cannabis industry is getting caught in the middle. President Donald Trump raised tariffs on China to 145% on most goods and 245% on electric vehicles and syringes. China hit back with 125% tariffs on all American exports just last week. For Michigan's cannabis industries, the conversation has now turned to parts, packaging and supplies, as much of that is being imported from China.

    DETROIT (WXYZ) — Changes are coming to Corktown, with Michigan Avenue set to get an overhaul. The road will be completely redone from Campus Martius Park to I-96. The project plan was first met with some criticism from Corktown business owners and residents. Among the issues were a lack of parking, limited lanes and removal of the iconic bricks.
