HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Highland Park residents woke up this weekend to a boil water advisory. Due to the low water pressure, residents are being urged to boil the water and let it cool before any form of usage. But Tuesday morning, she woke up to the news that the two-month-old ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas has been broken. HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Hamtramck driving school on Conant Street is under scrutiny for not meeting requirements set by the Michigan Department of State. Al Baraka Driving School's operations were suspended on Friday after inspectors found the registered place of business closed during working hours with boards on the windows and doors. It's also alleged that the business failed to maintain records, among other violations.

(WXYZ) — A nineteen-year-old woman, Rawan Baseti, was laid to rest Monday, February 24th, after she was shot and killed Friday around 10 pm in what police say stemmed from a road rage incident, leaving countless family members and friends grieving. Michigan is hitting the breaks on a program to build more public electric vehicle charging stations in response to a pause in federal funding from the Trump administration. New leadership at the US Department of Transportation put a pause on the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. NEVI, established under former President Joe Biden. It was set to invest $110 million in Michigan through 2026 to help build 100 charging stations.
