SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Santa Cruz County Superior Court is vacating the trial for rancher George Alan Kelly, who is accused of a killing a man crossing through his property. Judge Thomas Fink said the appeals court granted him a stay Tuesday. The State of Arizona requested this stay after not getting the trial postponed in previous hearings.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Court documents revealed disturbing details about a teenage girl's killing at a Tucson house party Wednesday. KGUN 9 obtained the interim police complaint on the investigation of the killing of 17-year-old Azucena Reina Price. The incident started with a guest playing with a gun at an apartment in the 3200 block of East Terra Alta Boulevard, near 5th Street and Country Club. Tucson police called 911 to report Price had been shot at the apartment.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Newly obtained court documents show a Southern Arizona farmer's account of a deadly shooting on his property. George Alan Kelly, 73, was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on a $1 million bond. He has a hearing next week and is petitioning the court to lower his bond. Kelly is charged with killing 48-year-old Gabriel Cuen-Butimea last month at his Kino Springs property. Cuen-Butimea is from Nogales, Son.
