A 25-year-old Nottingham man has admitted causing the death of a “much loved father and husband” in a collision. Zakariya Navid had initially pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing the death of Vasile Predoiu through careless driving when he first appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on December 2, last year. On that occasion, Judge Steven Coupland set a trial date of June 2 this year and handed the defendant bail.
