A Nottingham man has been found guilty of carrying out sex acts on a young boy. Following a four-day trial at Nottingham Crown Court, a jury of nine men and three women took more than five hours to unanimously convict Graham Occleshaw of four counts of sexual assault of a child aged under 13 and one count of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. The 54-year-old, of Bulwell, showed little emotion when the verdicts were delivered on the afternoon of Thursday, April 17.

Nottingham Crown Court heard how images and movies seized from the phone of Jordan Phillis included children as young as five being sexually abused and in one, a "distressed" young girl was tied and bound.

A pair of illegal immigrants were caught looking after a large scale cannabis grow in Nottingham worth one million pounds. Nottingham Crown Court heard how almost 1,250 plants were found when officers raided the commercial premises in Basford. Four large areas of the property had been set aside for growing drugs, the electricity had been bypassed and sophisticated fans and lighting rigs had been installed to help the plants grow.
