Crimes in Metro Manila dipped by 23.73 percent during a nearly two-month monitoring by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), its top official disclosed Friday, Jan. 17. NCRPO acting director Police Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin said that there were 768 index crimes recorded in Metro Manila from Nov. 23, 2024 to Jan. 15, 2025.
