A runaway trolley has been revealed as the culprit of a supermarket crash at the centre of a privacy stoush with Countdown. The supermarket has now done a U-turn on its initial refusal to provide CCTV footage to a woman whose car was damaged. Kelly Hamilton, of Glenfield, said she parked in the Countdown Hauraki Corner carpark about 9.30am on November 20. Footage shows a trolley barrelling into Kelly Hamilton's car. Hamilton does merchandising at the supermarket so is there about twice a week.

OPINIONNew Zealand has fallen slightly in the latest Corruption Perception Index – which measures the least corrupt countries in the world. New Zealand has gone from number two in the world, to number three. The annual index is produced each year by the global anti-corruption NGO, Transparency International. The country’s score out-of-100 has also dropped, from 87 to 85 (in which, zero is considered highly corrupt and 100 is very clean).
