And that was apparent recently at Kenilworth Public Library, where kittens were the focus of the evening. Children ages 3 and older attended a special story time, followed by a special visitor from an animal shelter. Robin Koerner, coordinator of children’s services, hosted this very special program targeted towards animal lovers.

Caren White, a master gardener with Middlesex County, is a popular speaker on herbs at garden clubs, libraries and other groups around the state. She gave a presentation on starting an herb garden and answered questions. Beginning, she explained the difference between an herb and a spice. Herbs use leaves or flowers. A spice uses any other part of the plant.

MGM had more stars than heaven and a fixer’s duty was to do anything in their power that was potentially damaging, so that stars came out unscathed. “They saved careers,” said playwright Douglas J. Cohen. “King of the Hollywood Fixers” is part of American Theater Group’s free Monday Night Play Reading Series, on April 14, at 7 p.m., at Hamilton Stage in Rahway.
