The Eagles have been extremely active on the recruiting trail this summer, and the trend continued this past weekend as Bill O'Brien and the Boston College staff hosted dozens of prospects from the 2027, 2028 and 2029 recruiting classes for various football camps. Since taking over as head coach last season, O'Brien has seemingly placed a heavy emphasis on recruiting, and the results are beginning to show this summer already.

The hot streak continues for Clark Lea and the Vanderbilt staff as the Commodores added another commitment to the 2026 recruiting class with 3-Star wide receiver Chris Tangelo. He was in town for an official visit on June 6, and now makes his announcement just a few days later. Bill O'Brien and the Eagles staff added the first commitment of official visit season this weekend as safety Da'Jon Green from Choctaw, Oklahoma officially announced his decision. The 6-foot, 190 lb. defender took to social media on Saturday evening to share the news. He wrote in his post, "Proud to announce that I've committed to Boston College.

The Commodores added a commitment from 3-Star running back Izayah Lee out of Lancaster, Texas, bringing the class total to nine. He took to social media on Saturday to make his announcement. Lee is the first running back commit of the class, and the fourth offensive prospect.
