DENVER -- My Pillow founder and noted conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell has been ordered to pay $2.3 million to a former employee at a voting equipment supplier after a jury found Lindell defamed the worker. According to the Associated Press, the jury made the decision following a two-week trial involving Lindell and Eric Coomer, the former security and product strategy director at Denver-based Dominion Voting Systems.

Travelers planning to visit the world’s most populated country are being advised to use extra caution on their trip. On Monday, the U.S. Department of State issued a Level 2 travel advisory for Americans heading to India. A Level 2 warning is the second lowest on the agency’s four-tier scale and advises travelers to “exercise increased caution” while visiting. The advisory says crime and terrorism threats are cause for the updated advisory.

Actor David H. K. Bell who made his big screen debut in the recently released “Lilo & Stitch” remake has died. Bell’s sister Jalene Bell confirmed her brother’s death in a Facebook post issued Sunday. “It is with a heavy heart I share that my sweet, generous, talented, funny, brilliant and handsome little brother David H. K. Bell will spend today in the company of our Heavenly Father,” she wrote. A cause of death was not publicly released.

Five gambling websites that are operating without licenses in Michigan have been issued cease-and-desist orders by the Michigan Gaming Control Board. The unlicensed casinos are accused of targeting players in Michigan and have been accepting wagers and deposits from players. The MGCB alleges the casinos are in violation of Michigan’s Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and the Michigan Penal Code.
