While not everyone will see rain everyday, storm chances stick through the remainder of the week and into the weekend, in some cases producing brief flooding. Thursday will begin with more rain for some, potentially slowing down the morning commute, so allow extra travel time. The afternoon will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms once again, with highs in the low 80s. Friday morning may start mostly dry for a few hours.

Thursday should be mostly sunny with temperatures in the upper-70s. The next several days are expected to be calm and pleasant, with warmer temperatures overall. Our weather forecast will change this weekend. Beautiful weather will dominate most of the next week as northwest flow aloft keeps us dry, but by the weekend some storm chances return. We should be in the upper-40s and lower-50s for lows each day with highs reaching into the 70s under mostly clear skies. However, we do have increasing chances for rain by the weekend, with showers and thunderstorms possible on Saturday and Sunday. Some of Sunday's storms could potentially be strong to severe.

Our Saturday and Saturday night forecast includes a higher chance of showers and even some thunderstorms. This is due to a low-pressure system and a cold front gradually moving into our area. On Sunday, we may still see a few lingering showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorm. As we move into next week, high pressure will move in, clearing our skies and keeping us mostly dry for the first part of the week.
