    Part 1: Intersectionality and Individuation There is love/hate relationship between activism and academia. On the one hand, activism tends to prioritize actions over ideas and often looks upon academia with disdain or at least distaste. On the other hand, this unfavourable attitude doesn't prevent a certain cross-pollination of ideas between the two spheres. An example of one such idea is intersectionality.
