When Greg Kinear has a fire plague started by a band of arsonists on his hands, he knows who to call. In Smoke, the new arson-based crime thriller miniseries from Apple TV+, Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett to stop a string of deadly fires that have engulfed one of the country’s rainiest areas, the Pacific Northwest. However, Egerton, who apparently uses the same dialect coach as Robert Pattinson in Mickey 17, might be the man lighting the fuse. At least that’s how the trailer frames it.
