TREDYFFRIN — Kaya Dezzi has always had the bat, and now she’s making her mark in the Marple Newtown lineup. The junior has worked her way from JV to earning key varsity reps this spring, and with a deep roster full of talent, head coach Mike Snow acknowledges it’s a good problem to have. RADNOR — Archbishop Carroll may have taken a five-goal lead into halftime Tuesday, but the Patriots knew better than to get comfortable, especially against Radnor. Junior Greta Potten fully expected a push from the Raptors, and they got exactly that in a clash between two perennial PIAA title contenders and neighborhood rivals. Carroll was able to fend off a late Radnor rally and earn a 11-8 victory, extending its winning streak to eight games.
