All evacuation orders were lifted at 9:00 P.M.At last check, the fire’s size was approximately 28 acres, and containment about 30%. ORIGINAL ARTICLE - Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue (TMFR) is reporting that a wildland fire is threatening structures in Wadsworth. The fire is currently about 7 to 10 acres in size and was reported just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A new treatment space that promotes creativity through music is now open in Renown Children's Hospital. "Sophie's Place" is supported by The Forever Young Foundation, founded by Barb Young and her husband NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young, and designed by Anne Marie and Kent Barton (Sophie's parents). The new space in Reno is the ninth location to provide music therapy to young people in children's hospitals across the nation.

"So, we've got a lot of collectors coming in. A lot of the things they want are collectible props from the Necronomicon book or action figures.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A Reno man is being ordered to serve 36 months in prison, followed by lifetime supervised release for possessing over 600 images of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). United States District Judge Anne R. Traum issued the sentence on Monday. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nevada, between December 11, 2022 and February 14, 2023, 78 year-old Carl Baker possessed and accessed computers and hard drives that contained CSAM.
