The Nevada softball team's Mountain West regular-season championship this season could mean an upcoming upgrade at Hixson Park. With the regular-season title, Nevada is expected to host the 2026 conference tournament as that honor goes to the previous season's champion if approved by the MW's joint counsel (San Diego State will host this week's tournament).
