PHILADELPHIA— The future of Kody Clemens is starting to become a little unclear in Philadelphia. There has not been a lot of opportunity for the Philadelphia Phillies’ utilityman, just four weeks into the regular season. Clemens has been a part of huge moments for the Phillies in years past, but his role on the team has seemingly vanished. Due to his left-handed swing, Clemens has suffered due to the saturation of options the Phillies have on their active roster.

PHILADELPHIA— That ball is outta here! The Philadelphia Phillies knew that Bryce Harper was starting to see the ball well. Harper himself spoke the other day and said he was just a few games away from locking in for the season. His second deck blast in the first inning confirmed it. Harper crushed a hanging slider from Miami Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara and did not miss in the slightest. His blast gave the Phillies an early 2-run lead, and they never looked back.

PHILADELPHIA— After grinding out a series split with the San Francisco Giants, the Philadelphia Phillies now turn their attention to the Miami Marlins. A club that has consistently given them trouble, the Marlins head into Friday’s action with a surprising 8-10 record. The young team has been full of excitement, including 3 walk-off wins in their opening series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Many faces have changed since these two teams last played. However, one constant remains in Sandy Alcantara.

PHILADELPHIA— Despite their winning record, the feeling surrounding the Philadelphia Phillies is not a positive one. After a 7-2 start to the season, the Phillies are 3-6 in their last 9 ballgames. With back-to-back series losses to the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals, they are in jeopardy of losing a third consecutive on Thursday afternoon against the San Francisco Giants. There are plenty of reasons for the recent skid.

PHILADELPHIA— Not the best week for the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies left Philadelphia last Sunday with a 7-2 record. They had just taken 2 of 3 games from the Los Angeles Dodgers and momentum was building. When they return home, they will have gone 2-4 on a road trip against the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. Sunday’s rubber match against the Cards could change the tune on the road trip, giving the Phillies something positive to build on after a rough week.
