Indian airstrikes deep into Pakistan and retaliatory shelling across the border have put the subcontinent on edge once again, with many fearing a further escalation between the two nuclear neighbors. At least 26 people were killed on May 6, 2025, by missiles launched by India, according to Pakistani authorities. India says it targeted “terrorist infrastructure” sites in the operation in response to an attack on April 22 that saw dozens of tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir killed by gunmen.

Those stately greenheads may be the flashiest of all the ducks on the pond, but blue-winged teal always grab the most attention with Texas’ early bird waterfowl crowds. The bell is ringing especially loud these days. The statewide early teal season in Texas got underway at 30 minutes before sunrise on Sept. 14. A @WatfordFC away loss with lots of positives for next year. Ngakia and Wiley both excellent, Louza very solid. Dwomoh looked good. I feel more positive about next season than I did this time a year ago.
