A weed dealer has admitted to causing the death of a 7-year-old boy and 35-year-old man in a devastating house explosion in Newcastle. Reece Galbraith, 33, admitted two counts of manslaughter and the production and supply of cannabis at Newcastle Crown Court after the blast levelled a property in the city in October last year and killed two people, including a seven-year-old boy.

As many as 100,000 people are feared dead and many more missing following a massive 8.2 magnitude earthquake that razed buildings to the ground across Myanmar and Thailand. High-rise buildings were reduced to piles of rubble and vast clouds of dust were launched into the air above Thai capital Bangkok this morning when the earthquake radiated from around 16km (10 miles) north-west of the city of Sagaing at a depth of 10km, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

A Criminology student who attempted to carry out what he considered to be "the perfect murder" has been jailed for life for the brutal attack in which he killed one woman and attempted to murder another. Right decision but the board have handled this in such a disgraceful way it’s hard to see how any self respecting manager would ever want to work for us. How Lopetegui has been treated over the last few days (after the recent death of his dad) is sickening. Ashamed of my club.
